Cities expand and with an ever-increasing population, Datsun Engineering is here to help meet the people’s current and future transportation needs. Datsun is committed to trying to limit the environment impact of new transportation strategies, while still designing efficient airports, bridges, tunnels, pedestrian paths, and interstates. We provide transportation surveying, traffic analysis, tunnel and bridge design, and transportation engineering.
Feature Project: Caroline Overpass
Working with Caroline County officials, Datsun Engineering helped develop a new traffic policy to accommodate increased traffic towards Westminster from two new subdivisions in the nearby Manor district. The overpass will connect I-72 and I-405, while removing the need for travel along Route 29, which was unable to handle the heavy traffic and made it very difficult for local residents to get anywhere during rush hour times.Bridge & Tunnel Repair
Highway safety officials indicated the Kendrall Bridge spanning the Loch Raven Reservoir was in desperate need of restoration and Datsun Engineering was ready to help.
Datsun did repair work on the Wayland tunnel system, which carries freight goods through Baltimore City and which needed maintenance work done.
