"My husband and I go hiking every Sunday morning with our kids because I have such fond memories of hiking with my parents. My father had such an ingrained sense of direction that even if we stepped off the trail or got lost, he would have us back to the parking lot at the end of the morning. My internal compass isn't that good so we still rely on trail markers like this one."
